Direction A, Horizon
One colour, one line, one name that never moves. This is the working sketch from assets/logo/; a letterer draws the final vector. Charcoal-2 on light, paper on dark, nothing else.
At every size
Sizes are cap heights. The screen minimum is a 12 px cap (4 mm in print); the Small master takes over at 24 px and below, the Display master from 48 px.
Clear space
One cap height on every side. Nothing enters the dashed box: no text, no edge, no other mark.
The horizon
The X crossing, the P and R bowl joins and the H crossbar share one line at 45% of the cap height. It is the line the L3 lockup extends and the one that sits on a real horizon in banners.
The L3 Horizon lockup
A hairline on the 45% line runs to both frame edges and stops one cap height short of the X and the N. It never passes through a letter.

Never
Stacked, split, recoloured, outlined, revealed letter by letter from the left, or with any gap, underline or colour change that isolates SHUN. The name always reveals whole, or with every gap opening together from the centre.
